"PTV Sports Halts Broadcast of Pakistan vs Australia Test Series – Find Out Why!"

 

PTV Sports, the sports channel of Pakistan TV, has ceased the live broadcasting of the current second Test match between Pakistan and Australia. This activity is in accordance with the information and Broadcasting Ministry's commitment to a strategy of "Zero Tolerance for Surrogate Companies," empowering partners to try not to support such substances in that frame of live sports event courage.

The advisory cautioned ministries, departments, and organizations against engaging in contracts or collaborations with illegally operating surrogate companies. Media outlets received a stern warning against promoting such companies through advertisements and were instructed to terminate existing agreements immediately. The ministry specifically identified two companies whose logos were displayed continuously during the live broadcast, leading to the urgent call for compliance and an investigation into non-compliance reasons. Stakeholders were urged to submit copies of their compliance within a week.
